Its that time of year again where we commence our journey to the mighty New Den for the Hays Property Cup. Attached are the competition instructions and the fixture list.

You will see that we have been drawn in the group stages against GVA and Wates (construction company).

The first match is scheduled for Wednesday 28th March at Gunnersbury Park (Chiswick), then every Wednesday thereafter until we get knocked out (which hopefully wont happen).

Unfortunately, I have been jinxed with the "injured manager curse" and will not be able to play in any of the games this year.

I am happy to deal with the emails and put a team together for each game, but I will need to rely on someone to captain the team and take control on the actual match days - If you are interested in being more involved and helping me out then please email me.

Please can you all come back to me on whether you are available for the first match on the 28th March (and try to keep the late afternoon / evenings free every Wednesdays through early April).

SAS 5 - 1 DTZ

The SAS booked their place into the Quarter Final of the Hays Property Cup with an impressive 5-1 win over DTZ, in the quarter final qualifying round.
With a limited but strong squad, the SAS team were impressive from start to finish, with some stand out performances from Michael Ball, Tom Dymond and tournament debutant Matthew Stephenson.
Goal scorers included Tom Dymond (x2), Neil Short, Michael Ball and Aaron Bell (his first goal for the SAS in 3 years!).
The SAS now face CBRE on Wednesday 25th April, in the quarter final, with a win guaranteeing them a trip to the New Den.

Quarter Final - Wednesday 25th April
Semi Final - Monday 30th April
Final – Thursday 3rd May

SAS 6 - 3 GVA

The SAS took part in their first match in the HAYS Property Cup 2012, against an experienced GVA and were triumphant with a 6-3 win, putting them in a good position within their group.
With a number of regulars unavailable, it was good to see some new faces and debutants, to include Oli Church, Paul Chester and Clive Nichol.
There were some great goals scored, with Neil Short (2), Sam Maloney, Oli Church (2) and Tom Dymond making the team sheet.
Performances of note go to debutants Oli Church and Paul Chester, together with the tireless Aaron Bell and a very athletic and experienced Ryan Kennedy.
The SAS take on Wates in their next game on Wednesday 11th April.
